Introduction

As the game itself expands, game design is unprecedentedly linked with all other areas. Among them, the application of games to scientific research is a typical example. However, looking back at some of these previous games, many rely on the simple labor of a large number of players, such as MIT’s EyeWire, which uses 3D decryption to draw neural network maps.

In the indie game HOUND, players are given more powerful abilities: creating life and their living space. The ultimate goal of the game is to apply it to the study of artificial intelligence, neural networks and ecosystems.

本周末,两部备受期待的游戏改编电影《生化危机:终章》和《刺客信条》上映,和之前国外观众的反应相似,在中国市场,这两部电影的口碑还是扑街。不久之后,《最终幻想:王者之剑》也要在国内的大荧幕上与观众见面。自上世纪九十年代以来,原来越多的畅销游戏被搬上大荧幕,而其中的相当一部分,都遭遇了口碑和票房的双重滑坡。因此我也想借助这个机会,就这个话题做一些讨论。事实证明,我们现在看到的一些品质欠佳的作品,远远不是游戏改编电影中的底线之作。

This weekend, two highly anticipated game adaptations, Resident Evil: Final Chapter and Assassin’s Creed.  which were similar to previous foreign audiences is that in the Chinese market, the reputation of these two films is still poor. Soon after, “Final Fantasy: The Sword of the King” will also meet the audience on the big screen in China. Since the 1990s, the more popular games have been put on the big screen, and quite a few of them have suffered a double decline in word of mouth and box office. Therefore, I also want to use this opportunity to do some discussion on this topic. As it turns out, some of the poor quality works we have seen so far are far from the bottom line in the game adaptation film.

2016年12月1日, TGA的评奖奖结果出炉。OVERWATCH荣获2016年度最佳游戏奖,而其主要竞争对手Uncharted4自然遗憾落选。而就在不久之前,IGN同样将OVERWATCH选为了2016年的最佳游戏。在这里,我不想讨论这各个候选游戏的优劣,而是希望就评选本身做一些探讨。

On December 1, 2016, the results of the TGA Awards were released. OVERWATCH won the 2016 Best Game Award, and its main competitor Uncharted4 was naturally unsuccessful.
